Volunteer Opportunities

Our organization was started by volunteers from the faith-based community in 1989. Since that time, volunteers have been an extraordinarily important part of InterFaith. Literally thousands of volunteers–men, women and children–have worked thousands of hours and served in many capacities:

  • Serving on the Board of Directors and Advisory Committees
  • Sponsoring new houses, or rooms
  • Preparing and serving meals for special celebrations
  • Providing health and educational services (i.e. visiting nurses, art process, individualized tutoring)
  • Collecting household goods (i.e. blankets, towels, small appliances)
  • Donating needed equipment, furniture, clothing, and food.
  • Completing special projects (painting, yard clean–up, planting vegetable gardens)

If you are looking for a volunteer opportunity or project, please call us at (707) 546–7907, or contact the Volunteer Center of Sonoma County.┬áIf you are a business owner, or company team leader, please register at United Way to participate in the next “Day of Caring”.
